Recruitment Consultant

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant with a background in contract recruitment to join our team of consultants specialising in Offshore recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a blue collar/oil and gas/engineering recruitment background who is seeking a new challenge.

In this role, you will be managing a niche desk focused on the supply of Offshore Drilling personnel to the International Offshore Marine sector. This includes positions such as Drilling Supervisors, Drillers, Assistant Drillers, Drilling Engineers, and AB Roustabouts, among others. You will be servicing an offshore portfolio of high-profile projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

Client Engagement: Foster and maintain relationships with clients in the International Offshore Marine sector, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Candidate Sourcing: Utilize diverse channels to source qualified Offshore Drilling personnel, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.

Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to ensure candidates’ suitability for offshore roles, evaluating technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Pipeline Management: Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring consistent communication to keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process.

Negotiation and Compliance: Facilitate negotiations between clients and candidates while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on the oil and gas industry and contract recruitment.
• Proven track record of success in sourcing and placing candidates in technical roles within the Offshore Drilling sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation required for travel
• Location: Durbanville, Cape Town
• Salary: Market Related
